Wamena, Friday, March 13, 2026 — During a routine family visitation service of the GIDI Kolose Wamena congregation, the Word of God was delivered by Elder Hosben Enambere from Proverbs 6:23–25. In his sermon, he emphasized that the commandment of the Lord is a lamp and His teaching is a light that guides people to walk on the right path of life.
Elder Hosben Enambere reminded the congregation that living without the light of God’s Word makes people easily led astray by various influences of the world. Therefore, every believer is called to continually read, listen to, and practice God’s Word so that their lives remain under His guidance.
Through this message, a special reminder was also given to students who come to the city to pursue their education, encouraging them to maintain their faith, study diligently, and stay away from things that could harm their future. By living in the light of God’s Word, the younger generation is expected to grow into individuals who fear the Lord and become a source of hope for their families and society.
